Dr Tim Forman shares insights with industry in practitioner forums

Dr Tim Forman has been sharing insights on sustainability in the built environment in practitioner forums.

In March 2019, Tim spoke at FutureBuild, which is a built environment exhibition and conference attended this year by nearly 30,000 people. Tim's talk, titled 'Existing buildings, future challenges', examined the implications of planetary limits for design and construction practice and argued for prioritisation of existing buildings within future strategies.

In June 2019, Tim joined a panel discussion on 'risk and resilience' as part of Mott MacDonald's Sustainability Week, which was attended by an in-house and online audience and members of the public. Tim was joined by experts on climate change, biodiversity, and buildings insurance and discussed the implications of climate change and societal stresses for engineering and construction strategy.
