ESD MPhil Dissertation Conference and Annual Dinner 2018

Many thanks to all the current students who took part in the annual dissertation conference - 16-18th July 2018.

The standard of presentations was high and the dissertation topics ranged from biophilia, urban planning and infrastrucuture, circular economy, transport, settlements, water, energy, renewable energy, international development and humanitarian response. The best presentation prize was won by Kaustav Dutta for his work on the "Accurate prediction of wind turbine component failure using predictive data analytics."  James Wark won the best poster prize, judged by Ryan from the  library, for his poster on "Evaluating rural water management schemes."

The annual dinner was held at Magdalene College and welcomed back special guests who had supported the MPhil this year and  30 alumni of the course.
