Est 2000 - home of the MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development

Dr Dai Morgan

Congratulations to Dr Morgan for being awarded a Pilkington Prize by the University for his excellence, innovation and leadership in teaching. He is one of 12 winners from across the University and the only academic from Engineering to be a recipient of the award this year.  The Pilkington Prize awards were endowed and inaugurated in 1994 by Sir Alastair Pilkington to acknowledge excellence in teaching, and they are the highest honour the University bestows for this activity. The prizes are awarded to individuals who make a substantial contribution to the teaching programme of a Department, a Faculty or the University as a whole.

This recognition will come as no surprise to those who know Dai and his exemplary management of the Engineering for Sustainable Development MPhil programme. Dai continues to provide caring support for all the students involved in the MPhil, and his success is especially creditable in such challenging times. The full citation  in support of his award can be read at the following link:

Very warm congratulations to Dai on his success.
