Engineering Education for Sustainable Development (EESD2020) is the 10th iteration of a biennial international conference, since its inception in 2002.

The conference attracts engineering educators and academics from all over the world with an interest in embedding sustainability in the curriculum.

University College Cork (UCC) will host the conference in June 2020, the first time it has been held in Ireland, on the theme ‘Building Flourishing Communities’.

Prof. Dick Fenner will be hosting a workshop revisiting the Barcelona Declaration.

The conference is chaired by Prof Edmond Byrne, Professor of Process & Chemical Engineering at UCC. You can find more details regarding the conference here
