Vernacular Architecture and Appropriate Design of Infrastructure in Afghanistan

Backbone infrastructure is vital to the further development of a developing country.  However, design is often inappropriate due to being imported from dissimilar locations.  This project looks at the fundamental design of basic infrastructure and explores ways to make it more effective at meeting the needs of the country within the human capacity available.
