Jaspreet Singh, ESD MPhil student (14-15) wins Arup competition to support Agastya’s Raspberry Pi project.
Jaspreet Singh has won a 90 second video competition based within Arup.
Students from the MPhil in ESD presented to a high level industry panel including senior directors from ARUP and Buro Happold, sharing their insights into carbon labelling for large infrastructure projects.
The First Embodied Carbon Academia-Industry Symposium was held on April 11th 2016, with fifty invited participants representing leading industry practice and academic research within the UK.
The ESD MPhil Students were given the opportunity to visit Crossrail on Tuesday 22nd of March 2016.
The ESD MPhil students had a successful fieldtrip to Mid Wales at the start of April. The purpose of the Field Trip was to visit a number of organisations dealing largely in Development, Energy, or Sustainable Technologies mostly in the CONTEXT of mid Wales.
Dr Dick Fenner and Dr Feriha Mukuve (ESD MPhil 10 -11, PhD 12 -15) have been awarded the prestigious Senior Moulton Medal for 2015 by the Institution of Chemical Engineers for their paper "Scale variability of water, land and energy resource interaction and their influence on the food system in Uganda" published in Sustainable Production and Consumption Vol 2 April 2015: 79-95.
